Shungite is a mineral extracted in Karelia, long used to purify and refresh drinking water. It contains rare fullerenes, complex carbon molecules whose discovery was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996. When fullerenes enter water, they attract and neutralize pollutants present in it: phenol, iron, manganese, chlorine, nitrates, nitrites, and bacteria.

Shungite water is also valued in skin care. Washing with it increases skin elasticity and tone, reduces flaking, and promotes cell regeneration. It is also suitable for skin prone to youthful acne. Rinsing hair with it strengthens hair roots and gives hair shine.

Usage

1. Before first use, rinse the stones several times under running water.
2. 250 g of shungite is for approximately 4 liters of water. It is best to store the water in a glass container.
3. Keep the stones in water for 3 days until the turbidity disappears. Then the water can be consumed.
4. If a film forms on the surface, pour off some water from the top.
5. Do not consume the last layer of water, about 4 cm above the stones.
6. The properties of fullerenes weaken over time, so it is recommended to replace the stones every 2-3 months.
